Finally no more cold feet! The insoles are extra thin and firmly felted, but insulate perfectly against the cold. The felt is breathable because it is really made of 100% pure new wool and, unlike many other felt insoles, contains no synthetics.

How do the insoles fit? They are true to size and were specially designed for our slippers from Kyrgyzstan (Tundra, Highland, Classic, Ballerina, Nomad, Taiga). But of course, they also fit into any other (house)shoe. When in doubt, always take one size larger, as they can be easily trimmed.

What kind of wool is used? Our felt insoles are made of 100% natural sheep's wool. We collect wool from small and medium-sized farmers whose farms are located in the highlands of the Naryn and Issyk-Kul regions of Kyrgyzstan. Harsh highland conditions determine the special properties of Kyrgyz sheep's wool. It has more curls, which allows for a stronger felt to be produced. The wool fibers have a medium to large thickness, making them better suited for the production of wool shoes and felt insoles and more durable than, for example, merino wool.
