Felt is largely self-cleaning and not very susceptible to dirt. However, at some point, it's naturally time for a cleaning. Here's how:
- Preparation: First, tap out the slippers and brush off the dirt, e.g., with our felt brush.
- Hand wash: We recommend hand washing, but WoolFits with leather soles can also be machine washed.
- Washing machine: Use the delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Instead, use a mild wool detergent.
- Drying: After washing, stuff the damp shoes with newspaper and let them dry at warm room temperature.

The leather sole is very durable and can be used outdoors (except when wet). However, it discolors quickly, so we recommend using the shoes indoors if possible. Sharp stones can also damage the sole. The average lifespan of our leather soles is 2-4 years.

New: the WoolFit Sherpa – with integrated footbed: ideal for normal and narrow feet.
Many customers wanted a slipper that is also suitable for narrow feet – others a model with a classic footbed. With the WoolFit Sherpa, we fulfill both wishes.
The fit is ergonomic, so the soft felt wraps around the foot like a second skin. Those with wide feet should choose one size larger.
The integrated footbed with arch support provides secure hold and relieves the feet when standing for long periods. It consists of two flexible parts that allow a natural rolling motion and gently activate the foot muscles.
Traditionally hand-felted with a unique color gradient
Visually, the Sherpa stands out from the classic look with soft pastel shades and a subtle color gradient – perfect for those who prefer something a little more refined and modern.
Otherwise, everything remains top-notch: 100% natural, mulesing-free virgin wool, a sole made of flexible and non-slip natural rubber, and artisanal craftsmanship of the highest standard.
Who is the Sherpa suitable for?
The Sherpa slipper is ideal for anyone longing for maximum softness and natural wearing comfort – without a rigid footbed, but with noticeable stability.
Thanks to its flexible sole, it supports a natural rolling motion, thus promoting healthy walking in everyday life.
It is especially suitable for narrow to normal width feet. Wider feet should choose one size larger. The wool felt gently adapts and gives slightly – for a supportive yet never constricting feel.
With its soft, seamless felt craftsmanship, the Sherpa is also comfortable for sensitive feet.
Thanks to the thick felt layer, it stays toasty warm even on cold days, without the feet overheating – a slipper for the whole year.
How is Sherpa made?
Every WoolFit Sherpa is made using traditional craftsmanship – in the elaborate wet felting process, where the shoe is felted directly around the last. This technique requires a lot of strength, experience, and dexterity.
All you need is wool, water, and soap – nothing more. After drying, the sole is cut, glued, and additionally stitched.
Finally, each pair receives the copper WoolFit logo – as a sign of genuine craftsmanship and durable quality.

Ich liebe diese Sherpahausschuhe! Sie sind so kuschelig und warm, passen perfekt für meine sehr schmalen Füße, sind zweifarbig wunderschön, die Kautschuksohle ist auch klasse und man steht und läuft wunderbar darin. Echt toll, dass die in Nepal handgefertigt werden. Das Material ist super!

Hab sie um eine Nummer größer bestellt. Das war gut so
Ich habe meine Schuhe jetzt ca 1 Woche und liebe sie. Am Anfang war es etwas ungewohnt, da sie deutlich leichter sind als die Vorgänger. Jetzt schätze ich genau das. Man läuft wie auf Wolken. Würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen
Die Sherpa sind schick. Nach ein paar Tagen passt sich das Flussbett bequem an. Vielleicht etwas schmal im Zehenbereich (ich habe keine breiten Füße) auch das hat sich etwas angepasst. Vorher hatte ich auch Wollpantoffel, aber diese sind viel stabiler und wärmer. Nächstes mal würde ich wohl eine Nummer größer nehmen.
War meine erste Bestellung, hab lange überlegt und bin jetzt so happy mit meinen tollen neuen Hausschuhen - ich trage sie im Moment barfuß und fühle mich so wohl drin - kuschlig warm, Paßform super, man hat Halt drin und die Sohle ist rutschfest und ich bin einfach rundum zufrieden mit diesen Schuhen!

Habe schwitzefüße und friere mich im Winter immer zu Tode.
Deswegen dazu entschieden etwas Geld in die Hand zu nehmen und etwas qualitativ Hochwertiges zu kaufen.
Soweit kann ich die Qualität auch nur bestätigen.
Sauber verarbeitete Nähte, rutschfeste Sohle und weicher Filz.
Habe mit Schuhgröße 43,5 Größe 44 bestellt.
Passen gut, für dünnere Socken etwas zu groß, für dicke Socken aber genau richtig. Vielleicht etwas zu lang und schmal für meinen Fußbau. Daher für breite Füße eher nicht geeignet (Wobei ich keine breiten Füße habe, die schuhe haben einfach einen langen Schnitt)
Die Schuhe sind aber wirklich sehr bequem, man läuft schön gefedert durchs Haus.
Einzige was man beachten muss ist, dass man keine allzugroße Stabilität im Fußgelenk hat.
Das Fußbett ist sehr bequem und man kann einfach in die schuhe rein, halten dann aber auch gut am fuß.
Schweißkalte Füße sind aufjedenfall bei weitem besser geworden

Ich will nie mehr andere Hausschuhe als meine "Woll"-Fühl-Schuhe!
Mein Mann hat beneidenswert normale Füße, dass seine Größe ihm nicht passt kommt quasi nie vor.
In diese Hausschuhe kam er aber nicht rein, auch mit mäßiger Gewalt nicht. Deshalb gingen sie leider zurück.
Die Schuhe an sich sind prima, deshalb drei Sterne.
Sie passen sehr gut und sehen gut aus.

Ich habe die pantoffeln verschenkt, kommen sehr gut an - sie werden kaum mehr ausgezogen.
